Approval process

The approval process for surgery is remarkably simple.  Just fill out the application on the link provided in your welcome email.

Once  I have received your surgical application. I will send your form to the doctor and I will email you as soon as you’re approved. I will let you know if I need any clarification on the information provided.

Please allow for the approval.

Pre-Approval– Based off of guidelines set forth by Dr Bilecik our assistant can preapprove some applications to help streamline the approval process.

And pre-approval gives you the benefit of getting a faster approval allowing you, to get a date scheduled on the calendar, to get your journey started.  The surgeon will still review your application and give a final approval.  Usually there will be no changes, but there could always be a case something additional may be needed.  Your coordinator will notify you if this is the case.

Once you are approved, you can email me up to 3 dates to check for availability. I am sorry but I do not have a way to check for multiple dates at once or send a list of dates available.

There is a GBP 100 deposit due within 5 days of booking your date (our 2025 special pricing of a GBP 100 non-refundable deposit goes towards your surgery final balance). Once you are booked on a date you will receive an email with payment methods that are accepted, you choose the one that works best for you.

Now you have the information there are 3 steps to get your booking finalised (we need all 3 steps completed please):

Pay your deposit using the payment link on our website. This is £100. Non refundable. This comes off your balance.

 Complete the booking form, so we can get everything locally booked

Our admin team will then send you a confirmation email within 1-2days. This also contains lots of helpful information and your unique login to the patient page of our website

Our surgery packages include the following:

Transportation to and from the Çukurova Airport (COV) or Antalya Airport (AYT), the Acibadem Hospital.

• One day pre op hospital stay, two nights post op hospital stay and one nights post op at the hotel. We are incredibly happy to be using the Divan Hotel Adana or Hilton Doubletree Antalya as our post op hotel. This resort style hotel will make your stay with us even more enjoyable. WiFi is available for you at both the hospital and the hotel.

o   Day 1 – preperation for surgery (hospital)

• Pre-operative blood work, ECG, abdominal ultrasound and chest x-ray, all standard medications in the hospital and upon discharge from our care and post-op x-ray (leak test).

Pricing

Endoscopic Sleeve Gastroplasty (ESG)

£ 7000 

Endoscopic Sleeve Gastroplasty IS done by endoscopy where a flexible device called an “ endoscope” with a high-definition camera. We introduce into the patient’s mouth throughout the esophagus until it reaches the stomach. Once in the stomach, the surgeon will apply stitches to the inside of your stomach.  by using an endoscopic suturing machine, significantly reducing its size and volume by 50% or more.

There is no incision or cuts. And the stomach also will not be cut or bypassed. 

The procedure is done under general anesthesia and lasts around 60-90 min.

Gastric Sleeve (VSG)

£ 3450

A sleeve gastrectomy is typically performed laparoscopically. During this procedure, approximately 80 percent of the stomach is removed. The stomach then becomes more of a tube shape, similar in shape to a banana. The surgeon will make small incisions in the upper abdomen and then insert small instruments through those incisions to complete the procedure. Since the stomach becomes much smaller, the amount of food a person can consume after this procedure is much more limited. This surgery also prompts hormonal changes, which often causes weight loss as well. The hormonal changes can also help with certain weight-related health conditions, such as high blood pressure and heart disease.

Bikini Line Sleeve Gastrectomy

Aiming at improving the aesthetic outcome of laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy. It is a new technique involving replacing the 4 to 5 abdominal scars used in the standard sleeve by 2 tiny scars hidden in the bikini line and one tiny scar in the belly button resulting in an almost scar-less weight-loss.

Does the Bikini Gastric Sleeve fit for all cases?

The answer is: No, it’s not suitable for all obese patients. Dr. Bilecik advises you to discuss with your doctor the possibility of choosing it for you. And whether it’s good for your condition or not.

RnY Gastric bypass (RNY)

£ 4200 

Gastric bypass surgery makes the stomach much smaller. The new stomach (pouch) has a capacity of about two ounces. This surgery also allows food to bypass part of the small intestine. You will feel full more quickly than when your stomach was its original size of about two quarts, which reduces the amount of food you eat and thus the calories consumed. However, you will not feel hungry after eating those small portions like you would if your stomach were its original size. Plus, the calories contained in the foods that you eat aren’t absorbed as well by your system due to the intestinal bypass, further reducing total calories taken in. The combination of these two factors leads to weight loss.

One Anastomosis Bypass (OAGB -Mini Bypass)

During a mini gastric bypass surgery, the stomach is made smaller, and the intestines are rerouted. It is performed laparoscopically by making 4 to 5 small incisions in the abdomen. The stomach is reduced by up to 90 percent, and then it is attached approximately 6 feet down the small intestines; this allows for food to bypass the upper intestines. It is sometimes chosen over a regular Roux-en-Y gastric bypass because it has a lower likelihood of complications, it has less side effects, and it is reversible. The weight loss results for mini gastric bypass are usually fairly comparable to those of Roux-en-Y gastric bypass. Mini gastric bypass makes patients feel fuller faster, allows for less absorption of calories and minerals, and is known to significantly improve overall health. Weight loss with this procedure is often fast and dramatic. Most people are also able to keep the weight off long term.

SADI-S

One Anastomosis Duodeno Ileostomy + Sleeve (SADIS), or also referred to as the Single Anastomosis Duodenal Switch

This surgery combines two of our popular surgeries the Gastric Sleeve Surgery and the One Anastomosis Bypass.  The Single Anastomosis Duodenal Switch is performed laparoscopically, meaning it’s minimally invasive and involves making small incisions in the abdomen.  One of the benefits of SADIS is that it’s a one-stage procedure.  Additionally, SADIS has been shown to be effective in helping patients achieve significant weight loss.

Hernia Repair

A condition in which the upper part of the stomach bulges through an opening in the diaphragm.
